Ten Dollar Bill

My Mom gave me $10.00. I remember these old bills. But for my children it was quiet amusing. It is from 1934. Depression Era.

It was a good thing the checker at the grocery store knew our family. When my husband used it to pay they were reluctant to take it. Several checkers, he told me, came to look at this $10.00 bill.

I brought the kids to SacAnime Friday. We will be here all 3 days.
I have stepped into another world.  I have noticed a few things on this first day.
Lots of hugging.

Lots of parents sitting reading books.

Trolls and others come up to their Moms and Dads periodically.

The kids will break out in song at times.

With summer in full swing, what better trend to try than ombre! But what the heck is ombre?!

Well apparently it is an old Spanish card game, but in the fashion world it means having different shades of one color graduate in tone. Whichever way you look at it, bring on the ombre! Olé!
